Vigourous multi-stemmed bush. It produces good quantities of medium to large sized oblong thin
shelled sweet nuts which ripen in September. Catkins are yellow and very attractive. Likes sun and sheltered sites.

Small decorative tree with large round heart shaped deep purple foliage with brilliant autumn
colour. Produces purple-yellow catkins in winter. Nuts are purplish in colour. Deciduous and hardy
but needs sun and shelter.

Upright growing tree, bears lots of large edible nuts ripening from September. Yellow catkins appear in
March-April. Leaves are rounded and green and turn yellow-orange in autumn. Hardy can withstand
shade.
